Bea Tollman is a pioneer in the small luxury hotel experience-  her story is a love story that began in 1952 at the Oyster Hotel in South Africa where she met her husband Stanley and they shared a meal of Oysters which she found she really hated the taste of and spat it back in the napkin.  Though she didn't love the oyster she loved the small boutique hotel concept and decided this would be her future, the hospitality business and the rest is history.
Bea is also a self taught chef whos' focus is comfort foods.   She has a hand in every one of the hotels, restaurants and Uniworld river cruises with the Red Carnation brand. She travels to each location several times a year to make sure all the details as being taken care of and up to her standards.  She takes pride in her staff and treats everyone like Royal Family including all her guests.  I admire this women immensely and all she stands for.  I am excited to be planning this adventure with her in mind for our Just Girls Travel Adventure.
